Business Recovery Workshop presented by Minuteman Press of Humble
The Lake Houston Area Chamber and Economic Development Partnership will host a free Business Recovery Workshop from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm on Wednesday, September 13 in the InvesTex Credit Union Board Room at the Chamber Office. The event is presented by Minuteman Press of Humble.
Agency experts will be on hand to present information and meet one-on-one to address business recovery needs.
If any of the following issues apply to you or your business, please attend:
- Business was damaged due to Hurricane Harvey
- Business lost significant income or complete business closure
- Major gap between what your insurance covered and your actual damages from the hurricane
- Loss of critical employees
- Struggling to keep vital employees on staff because of lost revenues
- Employees experience major damage to their homes that was not covered by flood insurance
Representatives from the SBA Disaster Recovery Team, the Small Business Development Council (SBDC) and The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) will be on hand to share vitally important information regarding business and individual loans available for business real and property damage not covered by insurance, working capital loans to get you back up and running as well as potential supplemental loans for eligible homeowners for their primary residences and personal property.

That your employees may be eligible for special disaster unemployment assistance (DUA) from the state if they are unable to work due to Hurricane Harvey?
