We are a private, non-profit organization funded through membership and non-dues investments. With 1,100 members spread throughout the fast-growth region comprising Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita, Summerwood and Fall Creek region, our organization is on the cusp of dynamic growth.

Summary: Manages investor sales and retention

Strategic Plan Alignment: Deliver Value To Investors - Attract And Retain Investors By Exceeding Their Expectations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Business Resource -
• Serves to help businesses and connect them to the appropriate resources they need.

Membership Sales & Upgrades -
• Initiates new contacts and sells chamber memberships and sponsorships.

• Meets monthly and annual goals for membership sales and renewals.

• Works to develop new pipelines of leads and referrals.

• Contacts members to sell upgrade memberships.

Record Keeping -
• Logs all contacts with members, potential members, dropped members and non-members into database.

• Helps maintain and updates member records in the membership database according to Chamber standards.

Reporting -
• Prepares monthly member and prospect contact reports for the Vice President of Membership.

• Reports to staff pertinent information about businesses, representatives and the community.

Retention & Renewals -
• Manages member accounts for memberships personally sold which includes renewal and past due member contacts

• Tracks renewals and communicates with members upon renewal, thanking them and reminding them of benefits.

Dropped Memberships -
• Makes contact with members requesting to drop their membership and works to keep them as members.

• Creates monthly dropped member proposals for Vice President of Membership

• Maintains detailed records in our membership database regarding drop details

Membership Services -
• Assists with Networking After Hours and Chamber 101.

• Attends ribbon cuttings as directed by the VP of Membership

Other -
• Assists and supports team members.

• Assists with special events.

• Assists with Total Resource Campaign

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Language Ability:
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with: CRM software, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.) Experience with ChamberMaster a plus
