Chamber welcomes new sales team, Chamber investors to benefit

HUMBLE, TX – The Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome new Vice President of Membership, Katie Woodard and new Investment Developer, Jennifer Cantave to the chamber staff.
Woodard rejoined the staff in April. In her time away from the Chamber, she worked in sales for Hampton Inn & Suites – Humble and Director of Recruitment & Training for Randall Reed’s Planet Ford – Humble/Kingwood. Woodard has an extensive background in sales and negotiations. She is now responsible for all member relations, including member engagement, renewals and more. Woodard’s hobbies include trying out new restaurants, spending time outdoors, especially on the water, and spending time with her French bulldog.
“I look forward to engaging with our investors to help them build their brand, create those better business connections and give them a voice in our community,” Woodard said. “My connections and experience in this community brings great value to our investors and to the chamber.”

Cantave joined the chamber staff in July. She previously worked for a local State Farm Insurance agent in sales and account management. She has a background in several different industries, including higher education, finance, human resources, kinesiology and more. This gives her a unique perspective in her new role here at the Chamber. She will be responsible for bringing in all new memberships at the Chamber. Cantave enjoys spending time with her two sons and daughter, fitness and being an administrator for her church, Xceleration Church Humble, TX.
“I am extremely excited to partner with the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce, business owners and leaders to grow the Lake Houston Area,” Cantave said. “Joining the Lake Houston Area Chamber as Investor Development is one of the greatest decisions made. This is going to be an exciting adventure of tremendous growth and lasting relationships.”
