Chamber announces honorees of 2nd annual YEPPIE Awards

HUMBLE, TX – Finalists and winners have been selected for the Lake Houston Area Chamber’s 2nd annual Young Entrepreneurs and Professionals (YEPPIE) Awards presented by Randall Reed’s Planet Ford – Humble, Kingwood.
 
The 2019 Top Four Under 40 are Duane Johnston with Chick-fil-A Wilson/Beltway 8, Robert Marmerstein with Kingwood Medical Center, Brittney Mittag with K&S Sportswear and Emily Stander with Stander & Company.
 
The finalists for Young Entrepreneur of the Year are Bobby Harl with Back Pew Brewing Noah LaBauve with State Farm Insurance and Aaron Sims with Jimmy Johns. The winner will be announced at the event on March 7.
 
The finalists for Young Professional of the Year are Chris Butsch with the Lake Houston Family YMCA, Amanda Chappell with Memorial Hermann Northeast and Terry Vaughn with Walgreens. The winner will be announced at the event on March 7.
 
The winner of the YEP Mentor of the Year are Connie and Darryal Chandler with Minuteman Press of Humble for their support of the YEP program and their support of area young entrepreneurs and professionals.
 
The winners and finalists for these awards were selected by a committee of community leaders and business owners.
 
The awardees will be honored at the Young Entrepreneurs and Professionals Awards presented by Randall Reed’s Planet Ford – Humble, Kingwood at 6 p.m. on March 7 at The Clubs of Kingwood.
 
Reservations for the event cost $50 for Chamber member and $55 for non-members. YEP members receive a $5 discount on the reservation price. Tables will not be sold for this event. Reservations made after Monday, March 4 are subject to availability and will be sold at the rate of $55 for members and $60 for non-members.
 
One drink ticket and heavy hors d’oeuvres are included in the reservation price.
