Kingwood, Texas (November 13, 2018) – Kings Harbor, a 20-acre mixed-use destination on the Lake Houston waterfront, announced BElagree Fitness will open in January 2019. The popular district of restaurants, shops, offices and community-oriented green space will welcome the new fitness studio featuring certified instructors teaching the Lagree method, a unique combination of strength training, endurance, cardio, balance, flexibility and core strength.

“Just in time to greet the New Year with a New Harbor, we also look forward to creating a new, fit and healthy body, thanks to BElagree Fitness, said Robert Williamson, Vice President, Investment & Capital Markets with Midway. “We are delighted to welcome BElagree to Kings Harbor.”

Brittany Paige-McDonald, instructor and owner of BElagree Fitness, said the workout is truly revolutionary, “the way you’re able to target and isolate muscles without tearing down your body makes the longevity of our clients limitless! There is absolutely nothing like it, so we are thrilled to bring something from the forefront of the fitness world straight from the streets of Hollywood right here to Lake Houston.”

BElagree Fitness will also deliver family-friendly programming as they will be the only premier megaformer studio offering BEKids in the area, a children's club designed for little ones aged 6 weeks to 8 years old that is available for a drop-in rate.

Adding the BElagree Fitness studio to the roster of merchants and restaurants in Kings Harbor enhances the district’s mix of experiences and offerings focused around fashion, food, fun and fitness. In other recent Kings Harbor news, two locally owned restaurants, Raffa’s Waterfront Grill and Chimichurri’s South American Grill have reopened. They joined returning locally owned businesses The Berry Bar, Dapper Darlings and Pretty Little Things, as well as first-time Kings Harbor tenant Wine & Design.

On December 15, Kings Harbor will have their annual Holiday at the Harbor. This year’s holiday event, presented by College Nannies + Sitters and L3 Foundation, will include free photos with Santa, snow sledding, wandering carolers, face painting with Wine & Design and plenty of fun for the whole family. On December 31, the grand reopening of Kings Harbor will be celebrated with New Year, New Harbor, including a concert featuring TC & The Cannonballs on The Green from 4 – 7 pm, followed by a 12-minute fireworks spectacular off the Kings Harbor pier at 7 pm.
