Chamber announces finalists for inaugural Pinnacle Business Awards
HUMBLE, TX— More than 20 Lake Houston Area businesses were nominated for the inaugural Pinnacle Business Awards presented by Insperity. A panel of Lake Houston Area business and community leaders chose the following finalists for business of the year in their respective categories:
The finalists in the small business of the year category include JC Sports and Pines Montessori School.
The finalists in the large business of the year category include Amber Green Corporation and JLA Realty.
The finalists in the franchise business of the year category include Chick-fil-A Wilson/Beltway 8 and Service Master Restoration & Cleaning.
The qualifications to be chosen for these awards included:
1. Nominee must be an active business located or operating in the Lake Houston Area.
2. Nominee must have been in business for at least 5 years.
3. Nominee must have demonstrated the following characteristics:
- Shows financial growth for past 3-5 years
- Demonstrates economic support of the Lake Houston Area business community
- Exceptional growth through additional creation of jobs
- Innovative products or services
- Provides exemplary customer service
- Volunteers in the Lake Houston Area community
The winner of each category will be announced at the Pinnacle Business Awards luncheon presented by Insperity on Tuesday, July 23 at 11:30 a.m. at The Overlook.
Lauren Leal, co-host for Houston Sports Show on KPRC Channel 2 and sports and feature reporter at NTV Houston will emcee the event.
The deadline to register for the luncheon is Friday, July 19. The cost is $30 for Chamber members and $40 for guests. After the deadline, registration is subject to availability and will be $35 for Chamber members and $45 for guests. To register, go to LakeHouston.org.
