Description
Honoring the Lake Houston Area's greatest peace officers and firefighters, this virtual luncheon salutes the everyday heroes that serve and protect our community. Local peace officer and fire stations honor their own at this event which will be held at noon via Zoom on Tuesday, January 26. Presenting Sponsor for this annual event is Light of the World Christian Fellowship Church.
Guest speaker for the program will be Ken Theis who was named Chief of the Humble Police Department on October 8, 2020. Theis was previously the Assistant Chief for Humble PD and succeeds Chief Delbert Dawes who retired in October 2020. He has served the Humble Police Department for 38 years and began his career with Humble PD as a Reserve Officer at 19 years old.
Lunch and awards will be delivered to each honoree station prior to the luncheon.
