Nominations for Lake Houston Area Business of the Year Awards Accepted Through September 24

HUMBLE, TX —Partnership Lake Houston is accepting nominations and applications for the Lake Houston Area Business of the Year awards. Awards will be given in three categories:

  • Business of the Year (1-50 employees)
  • Business of the Year (51+ employees)
  • Franchise of the Year
 
The deadline to submit nominations and applications for each category is Friday, September 24, 2021. Nominees will be informed the following day via email and will have two weeks to provide further details about their business in a long form. The long form will be used by a committee of local business owners and community members to score the applicants and decide the winners.
 
Nominees who submit their long form application by the deadline will be judged on economic accomplishments, growth, innovation, and service to the Lake Houston Area. These qualifications should be clearly stated in the long form. The three finalists for each category will be announced mid-October.
 
The Business of the Year award winners will be recognized at 11:30 am on Tuesday, November 16 at the Partnership Lake Houston Business Awards luncheon. The luncheon will be held at the Humble Civic Center.
 
The Partnership Lake Houston Business Awards Reception’s presenting sponsor is Stander & Company. The Small Business Awards sponsor is Shell Federal Credit Union. The Large Business Awards sponsor is PostNet. The Franchise Business Awards sponsor is SE Texas ER & Hospital.
