Lake Houston Area Chamber postpones Chamber events thru April 3 over coronavirus concerns

HUMBLE, TX — In the interest of public health, the Lake Houston Area Chamber has officially announced it will be postponing all scheduled events and programs through April 3 due to concerns around coronavirus, though it’s exploring rescheduling.

Committee meetings will proceed; however, call-in options will be made available to all attendees. Members are encouraged to use the call-in option. Information regarding upcoming Committee meetings will be shared with Committee members in the coming days.

Individuals and organizations that have registered for an event or program set to take place on or before April 3, 2020 and have paid a registration fee are able to refund the fee in full, or Lake Houston Area Chamber organizers can apply credits to the rescheduled date or a future event by sending an email to chamber@lakehouston.org.

In addition, the Chamber created a business resource page designed to provide planning toolkits and information to businesses and individuals in the region at lakehouston.org/coronavirus. This page will be updated as new information becomes available.
