Partnership Lake Houston Welcomes Two New Executive Board Members

HUMBLE, TX — Partnership Lake Houston and the Lake Houston Board of Directors have approved two new Executive Board Members: Dr. Elizabeth Fagen, Humble ISD Superintendent and Justin Kendrick, Senior Vice President and CEO of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center and Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital.
 
Both members joined the Executive Board in January of 2021. Fagen assumes the Executive Board position previously held by Dr. Katherine Persson, President of Lone Star College Kingwood. Kendrick assumes the Executive Board position previously held by Noel Cardenas, Vice President of Operations for Memorial Hermann Northeast.
 
“The vision and business acumen these two leaders bring to our organization will help us as we navigate another pandemic year,” Armstrong said. “In times like these, having experienced leaders is essential to our success.”
 
Fagen has served as Humble Independent School District Superintendent since July of 2016. She earned her bachelor’s degree from William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa, and her doctoral degree, master’s degree and her education specialist degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She has more than 20 years of education experience, including 12 years as a school superintendent. Dr. Fagen served on the board of directors for four years prior to her executive role. She also holds a position on the Humble Area Assistance Ministries board of directors.
 
Kendrick was named senior vice president and CEO of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center and Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital in August of 2020. During his nine-year tenure with Memorial Hermann, he served as vice president of operations at both the Texas Medical Center and The Woodlands campuses of Memorial Hermann. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma and his Master’s in Science at Trinity University in San Antonio.
